UDAIPUR: Upset over being scolded by her parents on some petty issue, an 18-year-old girl consumed pesticide at Paneriyon Ki Madari locality under Hiran Magri police station of Udaipur on Monday. She was rushed to MB Hospital where her condition is stated to be critical.
According to sources, Saroj (18), daughter of Madan Lal Menaria, had some argument with her parents over some petty issue. The incident took place in the afternoon after which the girl consumed pesticide and went to the coaching centre. At the coaching centre, she started vomiting and collapsed. The management of the coaching centre informed the family after which one of her relatives rushed her to home.
However, when the condition of the girl did not improve, she was taken to MB Hospital where her condition remained serious. However, the cause of the dispute is not yet clear.
She said in her statement to the police that she was upset after scolded by parents. She also told police that she had swallowed the tablets lying in her house.
